Hi, My name is Elizabeth, but my new family call me Lizzy. When I arrived at the rescue, I was in a bad way. I had pyometra(infection of my uterus) and alot of hair loss. I was put on a drip and rushed into theatre to get desexed(Getting desexed meant - no more pyometra). I also had to have a few skin scrapings, but all came back negative. The vet said because I was in such poor condition, my hair was just falling out. A few weeks later, I was given the ok to go and meet my new family. Isabel said if I liked them, I would be allowed to stay forever. Well, guess what??? I loved them!!!! I am now living here in Sydenham, Vic with my new family and they absolutely adore me. I have 2 gentle kids to give me kisses and rubs and a cat to mess around with. It was as if I struck gold when I met my family, they are a dream come true!
