Happy Tails

Hi, my name is Tara and when I arrived in rescue, I was in a terrible state. I had 2 severely luxating patella's, a soft palate that was longer than usual, which prevented me from breathing properly and demodectic mange. Firstly I had a skin scraping and was put onto medication to get rid of my mange. Secondly I went into theatre to have my soft palate resected as when I got excited,I would turn purple. Thirdly I had my left patella operated on, it was so bad that I had to get a pin in my leg to keep it straight. Eight weeks later I had to go back into theatre to have my right patella operated. That was pretty bad too and I ended up with wire in that leg aswell. During my leg operations I had to be confined so my leg would heal, that was a challange, but I coped. So after 6 months in rescue and 4 operation later(I got desexed during this time aswell), I went to my new home. Ooops, not my new home, more like paradise!!! Carole from Cottles bridge adopted me into her family and boy am I happy here. I have a HUGE house to run around and a massive park like backyard. I have 2 basset hound sisters and you guess it - a pug brother. His name is Diesel and I love him dearly. That is him with me pictured in the picture below. I am the smaller one and Diesel is the one with the big boof head. I couldn't have asked for a better home, I love my family so so much. I am never leaving paradise, I have finally made all my dreams come true and am living my dream as a princess here!
